last night I had an academic team meet that I was excited for that went HORRIBLY WRONG, and as a result I require some cheering up.

soooooo recommend stuff! mostly MUSIC because I am desperate for new stuff. BAND-SPECIFIC PLEASE, because for all the music I listen to, there are few bands I actively pay attention to. no single songs, no mixes! recommend entire albums that you think I should have in my library!



IN OTHER NEWS: I had to quit NaNoWriMo :( there's too much going on for me right now. I've been working on my senior project, and (FINALLY) got my textbook for AP European History so I've been reading that and taking lots and lots of notes.

Song will be included on her upcoming studio album also titled "my life", release date is November 25th.

Even with his busy schedule filming for Fuji TV's drama 'Tokyo DOGS', Hiro makes time for her. After every treatment session that lasts for about an hour, he will grasp his wife's hand tightly as they leave the hospital together, just as he had promised to 'protect' her.

Today NTT DoCoMo announced their new winter/spring mobile phones models for the last half of their 2009 fiscal year. Of course there are going to be new commercials with the new models. Horikita Maki, Matsuyama Kenichi and Gekidan Hitori attended the announcement event to present each of their new commercials.

The theme for the new commercials will be "VERSION UP!" with Horikita’s edition being called the "STYLE Illumination" edition. The word illumination is already indicating that we are going to see some Christmas lights, but the warm and fuzzy feeling will even get topped by a supposed boyfriend of Horikita embracing her from behind. It’s a nice short scene that makes it difficult not to get jealous…

I'm not much of a fan of Horikita Maki but man do I LOVE Matsuyama Kenichi and Gekidan Hitori. XD

Less than 9 months after her drug trial, former talento Komukai Minako (24) is to release an appropriately titled debut single this week. Arrested in January for use of amphetamines, she received a an 18-month sentence, suspended for three years, at the end of February. The sentence is the same as that handed down yesterday to former top idol singer Sakai Noriko (38), so Komukai's move back into the showbiz limelight is likely to be watched closely. She had a controversial run at the Rock-za strip theater in June, with her former management agency using the courts in an effort to stop her from appearing. She made her first TV appearance following the scandal on a Beat Takeshi-hosted variety show in August. And tomorrow sees the online release of the single "I Am Scandal." Sources say Komukai plans to return to the Rock-za and work mainly as a stripper.

A new anime based on Tanaka Reina's appearance and character has been announced. It will begin airing on January 9th, 2010 in Japan. The anime will also feature the voices of Tanaka Reina as the title character and Noto Arisa as a policewomen.

"Modeled after Morning Musume's Tanaka Reina, the on going 4 square manga series "Kaito Reinya" (Phantom Thief Reinya) that's currently serialized in "Shoukan The Television", "Gekkan The Televsion", "Gekkan Newtype", "Shounen Ace", "Comptiq" is finally being made into an anime! It has been decided to premier beginning January 2010 on KBC TV (Kyuushu Asahi Housou)!"

Beginning today, the official website is online with special articles, news, a blog, and instruction to sign up as a Kaito Reinya supporter (Within Japan only).

Noto Arisa from Up-front Egg will be voicing the character, Policewomen Nocchi.


The story:
What is Kaito Reinya?

Modeled after Morning Musume's Tanaka Reina, with her Hataka-ben, the self-indulgence phantom thief, and the stupid police, will unfold the non-sense short comedy.
Kaito Reinya is normally a clerk in a "Faminya" convenient store. With her sidekick Chu-Taro (A mouse), they come up with their treasure stealing plans in their hideout under the store.
Near the Faminya is the Dai Edo Police station. There, the indecent inspector, delusional detective, and airhead policewomen dumb trio are persistent on catching Reinya, but are fooled every time due to their stupidity. Kaito Reinya is the non-sense comedy about these people.

NEWS member Yamashita Tomohisa will soon be releasing his solo single 'Loveless'! At the end of this month Yamashita will also be holding his 3 day concert 'TOMOHISA YAMASHITA First Solo SHORT BUT SWEET ～短いけれどいい時間を ～ [Mijikai-keredo Ii Jikan o]'. Yamashita is busily rehearsing and preparing everyday. He shared his thoughts about the upcoming live performance. He sounded ready to take on the large-size venue.

A question to the writers on my flist - when you write things unrelated to fandom, for an entirely private purpose, are there patterns in the things you write? Some people habitually write familial relationships, some write about nature, some write about love (or the opposite, hate), but anyway, it's a fun thing to think and talk about.

In the past I wrote a lot about familial relationships, but at the moment I think I write a lot about nature.

She pouts! She pouts! How insanely cute!!!!!!!!

To sum up this morning:

- Walked to Statistics exam in the pouring rain without an umbrella or sneakers. Flip-flops were a bad choice. Hoodie not entirely wise either. Was running late, couldn't help it.
- Looked over the exam and realized that things were not good. Majority of questions did not even involve math, but were true/false or multiple choice.
- Didn't understand the wording of one of the problems probably because we were being tested on too much information and I could not place what chapter it was coming from.
- One chapter she said to study was not even asked about.
- Did not answer many a question because of brain fail and lack of time.
- Left the exam, walking in the pouring rain and crying.
- Got into bed to continue crying and feeling sorry for myself.
- Found an ant crawling on me and nearly flew into a rage, completely ready to drop all of my current classes and leave this place tomorrow, saying fuck it all and it's not worth it.
- Remembered all the hard work I've put into NOT doing that.

Academics... are all I have. It's the only thing that makes me feel like I count for something. I don't know why, but this kind of situation makes me feel dead inside.

Going to sleep and shake it off.
